Description

Sale of ewe's milk cheese and yoghurt. Depending on the season and availability, sale of free-range lamb and pork.

As a young dairy ewe farmer, I process my ewes' milk into cheese and yoghurt. The ewes graze from spring to autumn around the sheepfold, and spend the winter in the warmth of the building. The lambs born on the farm at the beginning of the year are reared with their mothers until they are 2 months old, then weaned and fattened up for retail sale or meat parcels. The same goes for the pigs. They grow in the open air on the farm and drink the whey (waste from cheese-making), which is recycled naturally.
We are on the market in Embrun on Wednesday and Saturday mornings from March to October, and on the market in Crots on Sundays in July and August.
Sales at the farm take place on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10.30am to 12pm and from 4pm to 7pm.
Visits to the farm are by prior arrangement only.
