5th auto tour of the legendary passes!

A real rendez-vous for classic car lovers! This event is open to historic vehicles and supercars. Supercars are the most powerful and prestigious cars in the world. This exceptional car rally is organized by theAssociation pour la Promotion du Sport Automobile dans les Hautes-Alpes with the support of the commune of Savines-le-Lac and the Conseil Départemental des Hautes-Alpes. Come and discover the breathtaking landscapes of the Hautes-Alpes, against the backdrop of the majestic Lac de Serre-Ponçon.

    The complete Hautes-Alpes tour in 24 hours

    For this fifth edition, our marathon trek retains all its characteristics and DNA! The much-renewed 2023 route will offer the bravest climbs over 50 passes, including some of the most legendary in the Southern Alps... As for the breaks, they're well-spread out, with a short night's rest! As last year, a digital version of the main GPS points will be available 48 hours before the start of the race, so you'll be better prepared!
    Entertainment, scrutineering, administrative checks, loop starts and finishes, catering, prize-giving... Everything will take place at the Pôle Culturel de Savines-le-Lac. The event is not a rally, and takes place on open roads. These are mountain roads with sometimes uneven surfaces. We require the presence of 2 people per eligible vehicle, both with valid driving licenses.

    THE PRE-PROGRAM

    From 8am to 10am: accueil des participants au Pôle Culturel du XXe siècle
    Coffee / Delivery of documents, plates and stickers, road-book / Verification of administrative documents / Technical inspection of vehicles / Return of vehicles to Parc Fermé. Vehicles return to Parc Fermé

    From 10 a.m. : doriginal discovery of the lake, compulsory briefing, then brunch for participants and partners

    12pm: dhe first car sets off for the 4-stage Boucle Nord race
    Heading north-east for this long loop, which will feature some of the most famous passes in the history of the ... Giro d'Italia. Before the finish, we'll take a break on the edge of the country for a summit dinner to watch the sun set over the Écrins and climb two legendary Tour de France passes! At nightfall, we head for the Oisans to reach the east of the département. After midnight, arrival at the base camp and bivouac in Devoluy (approx. 3-hour rest period).

    From 4 a.m. : departure of the first car for the 5-stage South Loop
    5am: courte break for traditional soup
    7h30 : breakfast with a mountain flavour
    12h: lunch between crews
    15h30: refuelling before the start of the last leg
    From 5.30pm: Arrival in Savines-le-Lac in front of the town hall, followed by an aperitif and prize-giving ceremony.
    From 7pm: convivial evening with the participants, partners and staff of the "24 Heures des Hautes Alpes", in the form of a buffet to allow the most tired to get a quick rest.
    Shuttle service to hotels available.
    23h30: Closure of the Parc Fermé for crews wishing to leave their vehicles there.
    Parc Fermé opens at 8:30 a.m. and closes at 11 a.m.
