Total immersion in the wilderness!
The Domaine de la Draye, on the heights of Crots between 1,500m and 1,900m altitude, is an exceptional mountain setting, surrounded by meadows and larch forests, overlooking the Durance valley and Serre-Ponçon lake.
Ideal for all outdoor activities, this former Nordic ski area is distinguished by its absence of ski lifts and its unspoilt setting. La Draye association de la montagne, which has been out of action for several years, has reopened this area for the enjoyment of mountain lovers young and old.
The assurance of a successful vacation, accessible to the whole family, in a quiet, authentic natural setting... a change of scenery guaranteed !

La Draye, a story of passion and solidarity!
Meeting with Luc IvanezLuc and Rémi (gîte manager and musher respectively) are looking to revive this Nordic site, which has been out of action for several years. As for Zach, an enthusiast of old caterpillars from the 60s, he finds in this place a means of exhibiting his old machines and an opportunity to get them up and running.
Solidarity goes into action!
Some groomers from the Queyras region donated a "comb", enabling them to smooth the piste behind the roller that packed it. And so, with a passion, a meeting and a touch of solidarity, the Draye Nordic ski area was given a new lease of life.La Draye now offers all the pleasures of the snow: dog sledding, skijoring and fatbike riding, snowshoeing and ski touring, toboggan runs for children and adults alike... not forgetting the sunny terrace of the gîte de la Draye with its panoramic view of the mountains.
