Description

On the sunny slopes of the Durance, Remollon (420 inhabitants, altitude 670m) offers the fruits of a renowned arboriculture, and the wines of a terroir already known in the 10th century.

A beautiful architectural heritage, with the Bourgade and its narrow, steep streets, old armorial gates, the Saint Roch chapel overlooking the orchards from its rocky peak, its 16th century bell tower.

A very ancient and rich history, in the footsteps of the Templars and Lesdiguières.

Rare natural sights, with the coiffed demoiselles overlooking the village, the petrifying waterfalls, the impressive trou de l'écluse and the dome of Remollon.

A recommended stop on the Fruit and Wine Route, the village is part of the Serre-Ponçon-Vallée de l'Avance Community of Communes.
