While we await the new 2024 program, let's take a look back at the 2023 edition:
The unmissable rendezvous for dance in all its forms!
Serre-Ponçon is the place to be for the Hautes-Alpes region's not-to-be-missed dance scene, with its culture, festivities, diversity and sharing! This is the 13th year that the town ofEmbrun has invited everyone to discover dance in all its forms: demonstrations, shows, initiations and workshops. Each year, over 20 disciplines are represented: world, urban, modern, traditional, couple and sports dances... An open-air dance festival!
A festive 2023 program open to all
The "SCENES OUVERTES DANSE" festival, organized by the town of Embrun and supported by the Région SUD, returns from Friday June 02 to Sunday June 04, 2023 to rock the streets of downtown Embrun with grace and energy!
- 450 professional, semi-professional and amateur dancers in the streets of Embrun.
- 35 shows and events over 3 days.
- Professional companies of regional, national and departmental stature in contemporary dance, jazz, hip hop and flamenco.
- 27 Hautes-Alpes dance schools performing.
- Salsa, rock and roll and tango dance evenings.
- Festive introductions to country dance, zumba, line dancing and capoeira.
- Dance workshops in consciousness dance, jazz/contemporary dance, aerial dance and African dance (fee and booking required).
- Over 4,000 people attended the festival.
