IQfoil European Youth and Junior Championship

Description

After organising 4 inter-regional Windfoil events and hosting Windfoil training courses for the French national teams, the Club Nautique Alpin de Serre-Ponçon is now organising an international competition.

Programme of the event:
- Tuesday 2 and Wednesday 3 July: Days devoted to registration, checking the gauge of equipment and training.

- Wednesday 3 July: Opening ceremony with parade and presentation of the national delegations, welcome by the officials and speeches by the organisers, followed by a festive evening dedicated to the partners and racers.

- Thursday 4 to Wednesday 10 July: Fleet race in the form of a slalom, course or marathon raid. The race zone will be between the Chadenas beach in Embrun and the Savines-le-Lac bridge.

- Thursday 11 July: Medal Race followed by the prize-giving ceremony.

Events and evening entertainment:
Sports competitions are scheduled in the mornings in the sports village in Embrun:
- Dockstart / Pump Foil

Several evening events are also on the programme:
- Opening ceremony with Olympians Jean-Baptiste Bernaz and Louise Cervera.
- Coaches' evening
- Prize-giving ceremony.
