A new open water swimming stage on Serre-Ponçon!

5 tailor-made aquatic events!
For this 4th edition of the Serre-Ponçon stage, the Dauphins Embrunais swimming and open water club has the support of the FFN and EDF, the PACA swimming league, the Comité Interdépartemental de Natation du 04 et 05 and numerous institutional and private partners. You'll be able to discover a fast-growing discipline that requires endurance, a real sense of tactics, race management and, above all, a spirit of sharing. That's why many find it so similar to a cycling event. With its 10km event, it has even become an Olympic discipline since the Beijing Games in 2008!
SATURDAY 27 JULY
16:00: Opening of the village to the public and participants
Collection of race caps (and rescue system for the 5km)
19:00: End of cap collection
All events take place on Sunday 28 July.

SUNDAY 28 JULY
06h15: Opening of the start village
06h45: 5km safety briefing in the village
07h00: Departure of boat and/or bus rotations to the start point in Embrun
07h45: Counting of participants and closing of the 5km start SAS
08h00: Start of the 5km with and without fins (2h15 delay)
10h15: 1.5km and 3km safety briefing
10.30am: Start of the 1.5km and 3km (45 min and 1.5 hrs lead times)
10.45am: Invited personalities/partners speak - Official ceremony for the 5km
12.00pm: 500m Chicks safety briefing in the Village
12.15pm: Start of the 500m from the start/finish village (30 min lead time)
12.30pm: Official ceremony for the 3km and 1.5 km
13H00: Official ceremony for the 500 m
45 MIN BREAK
13h45: Briefing for the 3 x 500 m OPEN relay
14h00: Start of the 3 x 500 m OPEN relay from the start/finish village (45 min time limit)
14h45: Official ceremony for the 3 x 500 m and end of the event.

Beautiful lakeside route in the middle of the mountains that runs from Embrun/Puy Sanières to Savines le Lac.
Departure for lake transport from Savines le lac to Embrun at 7.00 am
Open without fins: numerous age group classifications for men and women
Fins authorised (separate classification), all age categories combined, men and women.

Grande Combette - stage n°8 - 3 kms

2 loops of 1.5 km at the Combettes beach in Savines le lac Palme not authorised (except for adapted sport/handisport practices and upon validation by the organiser).
