Digital follies

Crévoux

Description

La Folie numérique is organising its digital arts festival, les folies numériques, in the Hautes-Alpes, at the Fort de Mont-Dauphin and in the Vallée de Crévoux:
The exhibition at the Fort de Mont Dauphin
The artists' cabins in the Vallée de Crévoux

From summer 2024, the Folies Numériques will be exporting to the Fort de Mont-Dauphin to [re]visit this majestic site from a contemporary perspective. Our programme of digital works aims to question the architecture of these spaces, highlighting their volumes, resonances and telluric forces. Each day, a visit unlike any other will take you on a stroll through these mysterious spaces to discover works that are sensitive, playful, contemplative and interactive, bringing together the past and the future.

You'll be able to discover, most of them in previews, 8 installations by Florent Colautti, Claudine Meyer, David Coignard, Frédéric Alemany, Lucien Bitaux, Erik Lorré and our digital LAbo.

Varnishing: 7 July 2024
Visits every day except Monday at 5.30pm (duration 1.5 hours)
5 nocturnes in the summer at 9pm with an enhanced stroll through the magic of the Night.

The Crévoux Valley is home to three artists' cabins offering a nocturnal and sensory experience in the heart of a wild, unspoilt site at an altitude of 1900m. Our LABo is creating digital treats to be enjoyed in the dead of night, revealing the valley's natural heritage.
