MEDIEVAL FESTIVAL POSTER OK

Embrun's medieval festival, a journey back in time!

For its 12th edition, the Fêtes médiévales take place in Embrun on August 24 and 25, 2023, and invite you to discover theart of living in the Middle Ages: medieval camp and market, fencing demonstrations, archery workshop, concerts and shows, street entertainment, bonfire...

Step back in time to the Middle Ages, at the height of our sunny city's influence, when the Princes Archbishops ruled the fortified town with an iron fist. Embrun established itself as the ecclesiastical metropolis of a province stretching as far as the Mediterranean. The canons' quarter, where the Tour Brune, the Maison des Chanonges and the Cathedral stand, are the most prestigious examples. In town, the stage is already set! Listed fountains, narrow streets, sculpted porches and corbelled houses, ...

All you have to do is don a period costume and set out to conquer medieval Embrun!
