The village of Crévoux enjoys an incomparable natural setting where traditions and know-how are still alive and well. As you wander through the narrow streets and lanes, you can feel the soul of the village, and it's always interesting to meet the villagers... ; Beliefs made it possible to get through the long winter months and hope for good harvests. This is why each hamlet had a chapel, and the main town a church. Visit the church in Crévoux, dedicated to Saint Marcellin, the first bishop of Embrun. And don't forget the chapels, such as La Chalp, dedicated to Saint-Jean, and discover the story of the Provencal shepherd's treasure that brings it to life... It's in this family-friendly ski resort, 500 metres from the slopes, that this gîte is located. It has a living room, sitting area, relaxation area with television, wood-burning stove, kitchen area (microwave oven). Shower room, wc. Upstairs, two attic bedrooms with mezzanine area (2 double beds, 2 single beds). Electric heating. To make the most of the outdoors, a terrace and enclosed grounds with garden furniture and barbecue are located in front of the gîte. A host of outdoor activities are on offer: a multitude of hiking trails, pony or donkey rides, electrically-assisted mountain bikes, rediscover the pleasure of mountain walks, in the shade of larch trees, on forest paths or along streams, even the ascent of the Col du Parpaillon and its tunnel, at an altitude of over 2600 m, one of the myths of cycle tourism in the Alps, becomes accessible to as many people as possible; Cycling is now just an excuse to explore the mountain and discover its treasures and most beautiful secrets. A visit to the Lac de Serre-Ponçon is a must, just fifteen kilometres away, where you can cool off and enjoy white-water sports, or simply relax on the many beaches near one of the largest lakes in the Southern Alps.
