The beaches of Serre-Ponçon
Each beach at Serre-Ponçon is unique in its location and the color of its water, from turquoise blue to emerald green, with the mountains protecting the lake like a precious jewel against the backdrop.
During the summer school vacations, our beaches are supervised, and first-aid posts are set up at each site. Flags inform you of bathing conditions, and connected yellow spherical buoys (water lines) mark out the supervised bathing area.
Serre-Ponçon is also the PLAN D'EAU of Embrunseparated from Lac de Serre-Ponçon by a promenade dam. A leisure base in the Hautes-Alpes with grassy beaches and top-quality facilities.
Where to swim in Serre-Ponçon?
Serre-Ponçon is the most labelled lake in France with its 9 " Pavillon Bleu " beaches and the only one in France to be certified "Ports Propres" with its 10 ports and pontoons.
!! The public beaches around Serre-Ponçon are off-limits to our four-legged friends. You can, of course, go along the 90 km of shoreline.
