Description

A fine 13th-century Romanesque building with geminated bays, this is where the canons of Embrun cathedral's chapter used to meet.

This house is the oldest civil building in Embrun, a vestige of the town's archiepiscopal past. Now restored, it has regained all its original architectural features, including a Romanesque façade with geminated windows, a 13th-century coffered ceiling, a 17th-century French ceiling and 16th-century murals.
This 13th-century architectural gem has been home to the Maison du Patrimoine de l'Embrunais since 2007. This Embrun heritage interpretation center is an exhibition and promotion venue (exhibitions, conferences, concerts, screenings, etc.).
