SATURDAY 29 AND SUNDAY 30 JUNE 2024
EMBRUN

Come and experience what it's like to be a triathlete!

The history of the Courte Distance, born of the myth: the "Embrunman"!

The short distance was born in 1987, when it became a separate event in the Embrunman. Faced with distances that gave this competition the image of being the toughest in the world, the organization added the short distance to satisfy less seasoned triathletes. The short distance has been separated from the mythical Embrunman with a new organization and has become an event in its own right. It is strategically placed at the start of the summer season. A good preparation for some, a challenge for others!
4 exceptional events in a unique setting. Come and take up the challenge!

NEW FOR 2024: XL DISTANCE

For this 4th edition, the organizers have prepared a surprise: an XL distance with 2.5km swim, 120km bike and 30km run. More details on this new event:
♦ S WIMMING: 2.5km swim to be done in Embrun's lake in 2 loops of 1,250m each with an Australian-style exit...to enjoy the cheering crowd!
BIKE: The ideal playground between lake and mountains! The bike course combines the M and L courses for 120 km and a D+ 2,214m. The perfect mix of passes, descents and rolling sections to keep everyone happy. Performance is the name of the game. Make the most of it!
RUNNING: 30km in 3 loops of 10km...to better enjoy the public and other triathletes. The course along the Durance and under the Roc d'Embrun is flat but with relaunches and changes of surface...You'll need to manage and smooth your efforts.
