In Savines-Le-Lac, set against a magnificent backdrop of mountains reflecting on the Serre Ponçon lake, the church of Saint-Florent is surprising and eye-catching, with its modern design evoking the image of a ship.

Situated in the exceptional Boscodon forest, at an altitude of 1150 m, Boscodon Abbey is a remarkable 12th-century Romanesque monument, listed as a Historic Monument.

Natural phenomena sometimes leave us with lovely surprises! In Remollon, you can admire two astonishing petrifying waterfalls from their observation deck. A refreshing walk. Parking at the start.

The Chateau de Picomtal overlooks Lake Serre-Ponçon. The first castle, built from an 11th-century watchtower, came to life in the 14th century and was enlarged in the 16th century. The château is a popular venue for tours and has its own bedrooms. French-style garden redesigned in the late 20th century.

The EDF dam and hydroelectric power station: an exceptional industrial heritage! It is one of the largest earthen hydroelectric dams in Europe. It impresses by its size: 123 m high, 600 m wide and 650 m thick!
